Connecting Your Media Player to WiFi
Connecting your Media Player to a strong WiFi connection is essential. In this article, you’ll find a step-by-step guide on how to connect your Media Player to the internet.
If you’re not using ethernet, ensuring a strong WiFi connection is critical. Without a WiFi connection, you’ll be unable to update the content displayed on your screen.
We recommend connecting an ethernet cable to the Media Player. This will establish a wired connection to your internet source, which tends to be very reliable.
If a wired connection is not possible, follow the steps below to connect your Media Player to WiFi.
Using the USB ports, connect a mouse and keyboard to your Media Player.
Using your mouse, open Settings (this will be found on the home page).
Select the network you want your Media Player to connect to (ensure a strong connection!). If you can’t establish a strong connection, we’d recommend using an ethernet connection or purchasing a booster from your internet provider.
Using your keyboard, input the password and press connect.
If the password is correct, you will be directed back to the network list, where you will see ‘connected’ in green text below your chosen network. Once this is done, you are good to go!
